Mods and Macros
I’ve created a forum section named “Resources” which will be host mods, macros, and other links to information that you might be looking for. To narrow the search, click the tag of the resource you are looking for on the forums. For example, if you wanted to find all mods listed on the forums, you’d click the mods tag.
There is also some strongly suggested mods like a boss mod and threat meter. This is going to be kept minimal as to “really needed for raiding”.
Boss event notification:
BigWigs
Info | Download
Or
Deadly Boss Mod (DBM)
Info/Download
These mods give a idea when abilities/spells are going to come and allow a person some time to react before it. Everyone should have at least one of these installed. If you don’t, you are just slowing down our progression.
Threat meter:
Omen (suggested)
Info | Download
Or
KHL Threat Meter (KTM) (optional)
Note: resource heavy, doesn’t track multiple mobs
With Omen and BigWigs or DBM, you can tie Omen into BigWigs for screen warnings if your threat increases too much or passes the tanks threat. Really, really nice feature.
Raid frames:
CT_RaidAssist
Download
Or
ORA2 (CTRA replacement)
Info | Download
Note: ORA2 requires some additional mods to get the same functionality as CTRA, but its built to be light and then a person can figure out what they want. Read the info on how to extend it to what you need.
I haven’t played around with ORA2 enough yet, but it seems pretty nice. The only thing I wish it had was a better interface to adjust the layout of it. ORA2/sRaidFrames is my unit frames of choice now after using it a bit. Very lightweight, easy to configure, does what I want without being bloated (ie CTRA).
Other:
VisualHeal
Info | Download
A strong “must-have” mod that allows healers to determine who is healing a target and how much is being healed. This mod is top notch in its function to utilize mana in a raid setting to the best possible manner. All guild members should have this installed.

Another REQUIRED addon is Void Reaver Alarm.
Information on the original can be found at http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/9804/
I have a new version that works in 2.3.3 with information and download at
http://thetriarii.com/projects/void-reaver-alarm
Please use my version until Lenja can update the original. Currently, mine is the only working copy.
This addon tells you where bombs are near you and how far you are away. You need this addon to help everyone else that uses it know where you are when a bomb is heading for you. If you do not have this addon, you will kill raid members, and potentially be kicked from raid. Melee do not require it, but it would be useful in case Void Reaver moves out of melee range and launches a bomb on you.
