November 1st, raid time once again. Past month or so we’ve had some bumps, people on breaks, etc, so I thought a little break was in need to clear the air a bit.
We picked up some new faces; welcome aboard. We will keep adding some more people to make sure things are happening, this might call for some rotations in raids, but thats okay, its kind of how Blizz was thinking imo. I say this because if you think about it, having a 25man raid, then a 10man instance like Kara/ZA, you either need to run two raids and alternate people in or you need to run three runs and have five extra players. We will be shooting for extra players so there is a lot of activity going on, especially with ZA coming up.
We will continue to raid on a mild schedule, not hardcore but allows us to progress on these instances enough so we can have some fun and get teh loots. If we don’t have enough on for 25man for any particular night, don’t sweat it, we are adding more and will continue to work on it. We will also adjust if we have to and at least do something so people will continue to gear up. Our current focus is Gruul, Mag, Lurker, and VR. I think our dps has improved enough to pick up working on VR again.
DKP. Over the past few weeks we’ve been going over dkp systems, I’ve come down to EPGP. This system is the most flexible and is all in game, which allows members to see current standings and allows more than one person (officers) to help keep the system updated. The important thing when coming to the decision for this verses other systems was the fairness for new members and the balance. Read the link to find out more about it, if you have any questions or concerns, please speak up. Also, this will only be used in 25man raids, all other 10man raids will use our current roll/need before greed system.
