Sindragosa Down

We downed Sindragosa for our first time on Tuesday, April 13, 2010. After doing a lot of refining, we developed a solid strat with minimal effort and low deaths at the end that really proved a great relief finally getting her down after a week of working on her. Great job to all those learning difficult encounters and moving us forward.

Sunday we’ll be starting our work on Lich King himself, and now that we got Sindragosa with a solid strat, we’ll be consistently be on LK earlier in the week giving us two days worth of raid time working on him which is perfect.

Blood Queen Lana’thel Down

We got our first Blood Queen Lana’thel kill last night which is great for the short time that we’ve worked on her. That makes us 10/12 for ICC, leaving Sindragosa and LK, which we’ll get some time to work on this week.

Excellent work by everyone and having the patience to work through the finer details of strategy, I know it can be frustrating at times, but oh so sweet when we down it. I gave a big bonus for everyone in the raid for putting in the work for that, thanks everyone!

Dreamwalker Down

We downed, or is it healed, the Dreamwalker encounter last night for our first time, making us 9/12 out of the ICC 25man bosses. Blood Queen, Sindragosa, and Lich King left! Great work to all those that put in the time last night, even though we downed her with not much effort.

Putricide Down

After developing a new strat, we downed Putricide last night. Everyone did an excellent job, and I think the learning from the past week helped refine our strat to be really effective. Great job to everyone.

We also downed Princes again, then moved on for some solid attempts on Dreamwalker, getting her up to 98% after refining our strategy. We’ll have her down on Sunday; making us 9/12 for the bosses in 25man ICC. Next boss we’ll be working on is Blood Queen, so read up on it.

Blood Princes Down

Thursday, January 28, 2010, we downed Blood Princes for our first time making us 7/12 of ICC 25man bosses and we’ll be working on Queen/Putricide on Sunday for some serious attempts at those last two bosses. Great work by everyone.

ICC Progression

We’ve been busy with ICC progression since it came out, and are currently 6/12 of the bosses and we’ll probably be 7/12 (if not 8/12) this week. When the first four bosses were released, we pretty much downed them without any problems and have consistently done so. We’ve developed solid strats for Festergut and Rotface and pretty much have those on farm now as well. Our next targets are Blood Princes (which we’ve got a handle on in 10man’s) and Putricide.

With the kills to both Rotface and Festergut, we have our first Shadow’s Edge awarded to Isthalas which will also be the first to receive Shadowmourne.

We’ve been pushing recruiting and have a solid line up of new players and are still looking for healers to make sure we can swap people in and out depending on the needs of players and encounters. Overall, I’m pretty happy with where we are at for being a guild that only raids three days a week, great job to everyone and good luck on loots!

Sorry for the late updates, I’ve just been busy with work and keeping up to date with new boss encounters. I’ll try to keep it up to date more

Sarth 3D Down (10-man)

We downed Sarth 3D 25-man a couple of months back, but officially downed the 10-man version tonight. I’ll try to set up more so people can get the title, but bring your dps if you want to go, you need a lot. Our setup was: Woowei (warrior tank), Lightbinden (disc priest), Soren (mage), Felarok (warlock), Beritt (rogue), Aranis (feral dps), Brave (dps warrior), Lin (shadow priest), Dmitry (enhancement shaman), and myself, Isthalas (unholy dk). I only have a screen capture of dps from recount:

Grats to Woo for nabbing the mount, and everyone else on the title.

Anub’arak Down (10-man)

Wednesday, September 2, 2009, we got one group through TotC 10-man and downed Anub’arak, we’ll now be working on the heroic version of this in 10-man, so if you’re interested, make sure to log on for offnights. We should also be able to get down Anub’arak 25-man this week and will start working on the heroic version.

Great job everyone last night and grats to all those who got loot.

Flame Leviathan and XT Hardmodes Down (10-man)

We’ve gotten both Flame Leviathan (4 towers up) and XT hardmodes down last week for 10-man Ulduar. Great work by everyone, we’re close to getting Thorim (hardmode) down and will be attempting Freya/Mimiron within the upcoming weeks in both 10-man and 25-man instances.
